Whitewater Rafting – Guided Fly Fishing – Guided Spin Fishing – Scenic Trips – Horseback Riding – Combination Fishing/Whitewater Adventures
Adventure Missoula is the original outfitter of whitewater trips through the famed Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork. We’ve been in operation since 1976! Rafting Missoula headquarters….There is no question that our experience and safety record will provide a fun family vacation for all ages.
We can accommodate and book large groups/family reunions ahead of schedule to ensure you have the best meal, best guides, and a great time.
We offer Full Day and Half Day trips on the Blackfoot, Bitterroot, Clark Fork, and Coeur d’Alene Rivers. We employ drift boats or rafts outfitted to navigate these rivers. These rivers are noted for Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brown and Bull trout, while neighboring forest banks provide views of deer, elk, beaver, osprey, eagles, kingfisher, geese, and the occasional moose. We track the river flows, follow the hatches, and understand how the wild and unpredictable weather affects our rivers and streams. We pride ourselves in being true Western Montana natives.
Scenic Float Trips
This is a great opportunity for all to enjoy the Clark Fork river, especially families with small children or seniors. The Tarkio Canyon is a mild stretch of water providing a relaxing float portion of the Clark Fork. Relax and kick back while soaking up the scenery. We often see deer, elk, beaver, eagles, osprey and variety of waterfowl on this stretch. Bring your binoculars or use our pair to spot all the critters. Your experienced, friendly local guide will share the colorful heritage of our early settlements, mining claims and the history of the river.
Horseback Riding is an alternative activity that offers diverse experiences. Whether you are looking for solitude drenched in natural scenery or the individual challenge of riding through the forest, horseback riding provides a connection with both nature and horses. It rivals no other forest immersion activity in it’s sweet natural elements.
