Here is some information on our cancellation policy as you make your reservation decisions.
Reservation Fees
A 5% reservation and credit card processing fee is non-refundable, even when a full refund is issued. Eligible refunds return 95% of the total booking amount.
72-Hour Cancellation Policy (All Trips)
Cancellations made 72 hours or more before your trip will receive a 95% refund.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the trip are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Large Groups (9+ Guests) & Multiple Boats
Large group reservations require two weeks’ notice for cancellations to receive a 95% refund.
No refunds are available within two weeks for these reservations.
Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows
Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.
Date Changes
Trips may be rescheduled with at least 72 hours notice, based on availability.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled check-in on your reservation confirmation. Fishing trips arrive at trip time. Trips depart on schedule, and late arrivals may miss their trip and will be treated as a no-show with no refund.
Trip Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to cancel trips due to weather, water levels, hazardous conditions, guide availability, or insufficient guests. If we cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Trips operate rain or shine. We provide appropriate gear when needed, but guests should dress for outdoor conditions.
Participant Requirements
Participants must be in good physical condition and not intoxicated at check-in. We reserve the right to refuse service if safety requirements are not met.
Children joining shared rafting trips should be comfortable in a group rafting environment and able to follow guide instructions. If a child in your party is unable to participate safely or significantly disrupts the experience for other guests, your group may be asked to exit the trip early at the nearest take-out without refund.
Waivers
All participants must complete and sign the online waiver at least one day prior to the trip.
Fishing Trips
Guests must purchase valid Montana fishing licenses before arrival, when required.
Workshops & Classes
Workshop and class registrations are non-refundable, though you may send someone in your place.
Guide Gratuities
Gratuities for guides are appreciated but optional. For most trips, 15–20% is customary. Please plan ahead, as tips cannot be added to credit cards and there are no ATMs at our Alberton headquarters.
